About The Owner
My name is Jacob Kelly. I’m a New Hampshire Master Electrician and the owner of Lighting Makeover.
After working in hundreds of New Hampshire homes, I noticed the same problem again and again. Most homes had poor lighting. Living rooms felt dark and sleepy, kitchens were hard to work in, bedrooms were so dim that people struggled just to get dressed in the morning.
I realized this was a big problem — and one I knew how to fix. That’s why I started Lighting Makeover: to help New Hampshire homeowners stop living in the dark and make their homes bright and beautiful, like the lighting in luxury homes.
What We Do
We do two things — and we do both well.
First, we create professional lighting plans that show homeowners exactly where lighting will make the biggest improvement to their home. In most cases, lighting is the fastest and most noticeable upgrade you can make.
Second, we bring that lighting plan to life using our own team of expert lighting electricians.
What Makes Us Different
Most lighting designers only create the plan, then subcontract electricians to complete the work — which means the homeowner pays twice. And while most electricians can install lights, they don’t understand modern lighting layout, design, or smart lighting systems.
